65 Fen Series 1-Year Anniversary Show: Monday, December 7

(Delroy’s Cafe and Wine Bar)

One of the most creative and reliable music series in Brooklyn over the past year has been 65Fen on Monday nights at Delroy’s Cafe and Wine Bar in Lefferts Gardens. Curated by Michael Foster, Patrick Breiner, Josh Sinton, Jake Henry, and Adam Hopkins, the series has featured a great variety musicians. It is the combination of a neighborhood series–drawing from so many of the people that live in that neighborhood or in nearby areas such as Ditmas Park or Crown Heights–and musicians living in other parts of New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Boston, or other parts of the East Coast that have made this such a rich series. This coming Monday, December 7, is the one-year anniversary of the series and it will be a celebration of the 100+ sets of music that have occurred there over the past year.

Monday December 7, 2015
65 Fenimore Street, Brooklyn
Doors at 8:30pm
Sets at 9:00 & 10:00pm
$10 suggested donation

The first set will feature the five curators along with Sean Ali, who helped curate the series for the first half of the previous year, and Anais Maviel, who is going to join the curatorial team for the coming year. The musicians will form ensembles of various sizes determined on the spot, drawn from a hat. The second set will feature guests and friends performing in unexpected formations.

The suggested donation will go to support the series by funding the back line. Proceeds will be used primarily to purchase a much-needed drum kit for the space. Please come out and support this fantastic series!
